new film, Revolutionary Road. The tale of a unique couple stuck in a suburban nightmare of the 1950’s reunites the couple that originally found ever lasting love in the frigid water after being bumped off their circa old school cruise ship by an enormous glacier. After seeing the photos of the film’s Monday night premiere in Los Angeles, one can’t help but notice how Leonardo DiCaprio & Kate Winslet seem to be looking even better with age. Kate Winslet looked stunning in a sexy but chich Balmain dress. Accompanied by her blonde hair, Kate looked every inch the starlet. Now it’s time for you to decide for yourself whether Kate & Leo look better now or then.

Yes, we are in a coupon clipping, stock plummeting, 401k depleting economic crisis. The holidays this year are not as merry in the sense of over compensating our friends and family with ridiculously high priced gifts. It doesn’t mean a girl can’t hope that  her significant other won’t reward her with something shiny and pretty. Having always been an enormous fan of David Yurman, my number one big ticket item for Christmas is this amazing David Yurman Albion Ring in Onyx.

Rosario Dawson was not only wearing an gorgeous Bottega Veneta dress at the L.A. premiere of  Seven Pounds but had a bad to the bone pair of Jimmy Choos on as well. I adore Jimmy Choo shoes and the caramel color of Rosario’s is great if you want to lengthen the look of your walking sticks.

Beverly Wilshire Hotel  in Beverly Hills. Decorated with Jimmy Choo Shoes the tree will be up for viewing until December 31st.

At a recent Jimmy Choo Box Party Kate Michael ,  Miss D.C. 2006, hosted a fabulous evening for Jimmy Choo admirers (while also scoring a pair for herself-see yellow below).  Sipping champagne and slipping on the most glamorous shoe candy, we drooled over some of their 2009 Cruise Collection. A handful of Hollywood’s fashionistas showed up for the opening of the Dolce & Gabbanna Boutique on Robertson Blvd. Rachel Bilson hosted the flagship store fete where 15% off of the designer duds were available to support The Art of Elysium. The luxury retailer drew in some appropriately dressed startlets, wrapped up in there very best D & G threads, leaning more on a darker (black) palette.
